The key is to get 3 active in a row, with the rest inactive. You can then hit the centre one to deactivate all of them. I did it by getting a single one active, and then hitting the 2 furthest corners, and then the two sides. yea i figured that out on accident, what a strange solution. I just posted a visual guide if you still need it sometime.

W9J5. Puzzle a way through the lost caverns of Angvar's Trove in Snowden Drifts. — In-game description Angvar's Trove is a guild puzzle located in Snowden Drifts , Guild members must coordinate to get through the caverns within the time limit, overcoming obstacles and puzzles to reach the end.
Returning to the puzzle after falling. Falling during many stages of the puzzle will unceremoniously dump you in the skelk-infested waters beneath the puzzle. Optionally you can jump down on to the alternative path after passing the first spike trap, or at the end of the spike trap corridor. Find the steps leading out of the water.
Most people will find 5-8 easily (two each in the three puzzle rooms and two in the path); the others can be tricky to discover. You can increase your opportunities by getting ports into each room & by swapping maps. Swapping can lose you access to the rooms in your original route, so best to get those first.
Personally, Troll's revenge was the hardest for me (chalice of tears a close second). Before the flying mounts, and if you didn't have a mesmer portal it was a real test. •. Using it activates both the golems and multiple laser traps. All four golems need to be killed to drop the forcefield behind them. Completing the puzzle awards the Spekks's Laboratory explorer achievement and a Magnificent Chest.
